I was looking for a compact front light - to use as a day-flashing light - mountable on the handlebar post of my folding bike (which is thicker than the handlebar). And my search ended with this light - as it has a 'rubber strap' which provides bi-directional tool-free mounting on both the handlebar & post (and the helmet too). The build quality of the light is also excellent. However, it lacks a clear battery indicator and Topeak should have included extra straps at this price point. These straps can easily snap over time.
