Ideal for carrying lightweight, compressible kit, the Expedition Handlebar Pack is a handy partner for long-distance road bike tours, weekend trips, or even a daily ride to work.
Eliminating the need for a bulky front rack, the bag fastens to handlebars with a reinforced attachment system that adds stability while improving handling and preventing abrasion. Dual roll-top closure keeps the contents secure, while allowing flexible packing capacity. A hands-free air release vent makes compressing the bag hassle-free, while welded seams ensure that contents stay dry in all conditions.
The handlebar bag is available in two sizes: the 14L version is ideal for long haul touring, while the 9L is well suited for endurance road racing and randonneuring. While excellent as a standalone bag, it’s possible to expand it with an Accessory Pack that provides a handy pocket for food and electronics.

MATERIALS & CARE
MATERIALS
The handlebar bag is cut from a three-layer laminate fabric that was developed specifically for Apidura. The material is lightweight, and is highly resistant to tears and abrasion. Notably, it’s welded together at the seams, creating a watertight seal that ensures complete waterproofing.
The handlebar bag’s attachment points are reinforced with Hypalon, a rubberised nylon used to provide extra protection against friction and abrasion. For the straps, we’ve chosen Woojin buckles for their strength and reliability.
CARE
Wash the handlebar bag by hand, using a mild diluted soap if necessary. Afterwards, let it air dry.
Do not machine wash, machine dry, or iron.

About Apidura
Who We Are
We’re an independent, family run business of cyclists, makers and problem solvers, brought together by a shared mission to find better ways to explore the world by bike.
Apidura was born from necessity; pioneering ultralight, rackless packing systems to help us take our love of cycling further and allow riders to unlock their instinct for adventure. As devoted adventure cyclists, we design with our fellow riders in mind, creating products that address genuine needs and bring new value to the bikepacking scene. We create the best packs we can, using technical materials and precision crafting techniques – and when we find a way to improve them we do so straight away and without fanfare. We don’t do ‘seasons’, limited editions or discount our gear – we simply create the best possible technical bikepacking gear that’s built to last.
We run our business with the same ethos that we bring to our rides. We stand against impulse consumption, aggressive marketing and waste. A sustainable product is one with a long lifespan, so we won’t compromise for cost, fashion or gimmicks and our products are built to be used and are easy to repair.
You won’t see adverts for Apidura on social networks, websites or magazines. The world is noisy enough and we’d rather concentrate our efforts on helping you enjoy the ride by supporting riders and races around the world.
Our small, London-based team has ridden around the world, competed in ultradistance bikepacking races, toured close to home and far afield and works closely with global suppliers and our global community. As members of the global bikepacking community, we believe it is our responsibility to support, develop and promote the sport we love, whilst also striving to leave the world a better place than we found it by living by the bikepacking principles of self-support and leave no trace.
What We Do
Our approach to design and technology.
We make products to help people use their bikes to discover the world. Our Packs are developed by an in-house team of designers and makers at our headquarters in London. Function dictates the design process, and each sketch and prototype we make needs to provide a solution for the unforgiving environments and conditions in which our riders use them.
First-hand research and our experience as cyclists are a huge part of what enables us to make the most innovative bike packs available. We also leverage our extensive design and development experience, and integrate new developments in fabric and materials. The feedback we get from our customers is also an invaluable source of insight and allows us to keep improving and evolving our Packs.
Supporting our commitment to innovation and continuous improvement is The Innovation Lab, a place for pushing the boundaries of design, construction, and ideas. The Lab is a culmination of all the technical and experiential knowledge that we’re able to call upon when designing Packs. It allows us to brainstorm and prototype new ideas, experiment with new materials and construction techniques, and to implement continuous design improvements. From time to time, we release limited edition products resulting from the work of the Innovation Lab, alongside our core product ranges.
We work closely with suppliers around the world, including the USA, Europe and Asia, to source the finest possible materials to support our designs. Our Packs are precision crafted at our factories in China, with skilled specialists carrying out cutting, sewing and welding. Rigorous testing is carried out by our team and ambassadors here in the UK and around the world.
Why We Do It
We’re committed to our customers and our community.
Our founders, Tori and Pierre, started the company as cycling enthusiasts who were looking for ways to take their passion further. It’s true that, without the help of the growing bikepacking community back in 2013, we wouldn’t be where we are today.
It’s why we’re committed to giving back and supporting the wider bikepacking community in any way possible.
