Really good V Brakes

Had Teltro V brakes on my bike. The front brake used to squeek often. Changed it to Shimano Alivio and the noise went off completely. I feel that the Shimano brakes are more stiffer than Tketro brakes. I have paired the calipers with Kool Stop brake pads, which are equally good as disc brakes. It given ample stopping even in heavy raining conditions.
